The 19th Polish Arts Festival will take place from Thursday 5th - Sunday 8th November.

Established in 2007, the festival is a community organisation that supports the intersection between artists and communities of place and interest by connecting with, presenting and reflecting on contemporary Polish and Irish artistic and cultural expression.

Monday 5th November

  • 2026 Polish Arts Festival Opening Event | Belltable | 5.30pm
    The evening begins with welcoming remarks from the festival directors and invited guests, setting the tone for the days of Polish arts and culture to follow.
  • Cantate Deo Choir | Belltable | 6.30pm
    The Polish Arts Festival opens with a special concert by an ensemble from the Limerick-based Cantate Deo Choir, founded and conducted by Ania Banko-Szumacher and based at the Polish Parish in Limerick. On this occasion, a smaller ensemble will represent the wider Cantate Deo community. 
  • The Promised Land (Ziemia Obiecana) Movie Screening | Belltable | 8pm
    As part of this year’s festival programme, the team are delighted to celebrate the Year of Andrzej Wajda with a screening of one of the acclaimed director’s greatest and most recognisable achievements, The Promised Land (Ziemia Obiecana).

Tuesday 6th November

  • Mountain Soul, Assemblages by Radek Przedpełski | LCGA | 6.30pm
    Polish Arts Festival, in collaboration with Limerick City Gallery of Art, presents Mountain Soul-assemblages, a multichannel video installation by Radek Przedpełski, tracing over a decade of practice at the intersection of geology, migration, and myth. 

Wednesday 7th November

This festival is brought to you with support from Limerick City and County Council.
