Limerick-based creative events business Blonde Canvas Co., founded by Áine and Karina, is celebrating its first anniversary this month.
What began as an idea to bring people together through creativity has grown into one of Limerick’s most loved social painting experiences, blending art, wellness, and community in a fun, inclusive setting.
Since launching in 2024, Blonde Canvas Co. has hosted a variety of wholesome, connection-focused painting events across Limerick and beyond - from bubbly nights with cocktails to themed sessions such as the Self Love Club and Friendship Day events. Their gatherings invite attendees to unwind, paint, and connect - without any experience required.
Driven by their shared passion for bringing people together in a safe, creative, and uplifting environment, Áine and Karina founded Blonde Canvas Co. to encourage genuine connection and self-expression through art.
“We started Blonde Canvas Co. to create a space where people could come together, relax, and express themselves—whether through painting or just having a laugh with friends,” said co-founders Áine & Karina. “We’ve been blown away by the response from the community and are so proud to be part of Limerick’s growing creative scene.”
In its first year, Blonde Canvas Co. has collaborated with local brands and venues, including 101 Limerick and Hook & Ladder, and has built a loyal following on social media through its uplifting and aesthetic content that captures the joy of each event.
As they mark their first birthday, the duo plans to continue expanding their events across Munster, with new themes, collaborations, and wellness-inspired sessions in the works for 2026.
