The Local Coordination Group established following the severe impact of Storm Éowyn is continuing to support residents impacted by the destructive storm.
Limerick City and County Council (LCCC) established the group to ensure residents who are still without water or power, or who require humanitarian assistance can access the supports they need by calling 061 556000 or Emailing customerservices@limerick.ie.
This Local Coordination Group is an additional support, continuing the actions of LCCC’s Emergency and Crisis Response teams, which were in place before, during and after the latest storm.
The group met again this morning (Tuesday, 28 January). Representatives from the ESB, Uisce Eireann, An Garda Síochána, HSE, The Department of Social Protection, Limerick Fire and Rescue Service, West Limerick Resources, Ballyhoura Development, Paul Partnership, Limerick Volunteer Centre, TFI Local Link, Community Welfare Services and the Civil Defence took part in the meeting.
The customer service team at LCCC will advise callers to 061 556000 of the next steps available to them in their local area.
The Council is committed to ensuring that all residents have access to vital resources during this challenging time.
