From Hearth to Ham at the Spitjack

This unique dining experience will trace Limerick's relationship with fire and meat across eight centuries, from The SpitJacks of King John's Castle's great hall, through the city's time as "Pigtown" (Matterson's, O'Mara's, Denny's and Shaw's, whose hams reached Queen Victoria's table and were exported as far as Russia and Romania), right up to the spit turning in our own kitchen today.
