Bruff Slí na Sláinte Walking Route is a 3.5km route located north of the town and is designed to encourage people to get more active and get walking.
Home to Ireland's largest and oldest stone circle, Lough Gur has breath taking scenery along with a tree and fairy trail for younger visitors. The Heritage Centre at Lough Gur displays the rich heritage of Lough Gur through interactive multimedia exhibitions that brings to life over 6,000 of archaeology and history. Fully trained and qualified tour guides are also on hand to answer all of your questions.
If you’re looking to do something a little different, why not try a pottery workshop with Lough Gur Pottery or art classes with Robert Ryan. Or the intimate setting of The Honey Fitz theatre, only a short distance from Bruff and close to Lough Gur, is the perfect venue to host dramatic groups and community activities including set dancing, computer classes and art classes.
