Memberships at the Limerick City and County Council owned Grove Island Leisure Centre have more than doubled after a major refurbishment and expansion project. There are now 2200 subscribed members compared to 945 twelve months ago.
A plaque has been unveiled by Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport, Patrick O’Donovan TD at a ceremony to mark the completion of the significant programme of works by Martins Construction Ltd. with PUNCH Consulting as the design lead team. In all, €1.85 Million has been invested.
