The preparation of the Plan is one of the most important functions of the Council setting out the strategic vision and policy direction for Limerick to 2028. Public consultation is a critical element of this preparation. Limerick City and County Council is committed to citizen engagement and have devised a number of consultation tools to ensure that all citizens are involved in the Draft Plan.
Limerick City and County Council invites everyone to get involved in the second stage of the process with the Draft Development Plan on public display from 26th June 2021 until 6th September 2021. Consultation methods and how to make a submission are outlined below.

Making a Submission
You can make a submission in one of the following ways:
- Through the MyPoint online portal here using the 'Make a Submission' link

- By Post: Forward & Strategic Planning, Limerick City and County Council, Merchant’s Quay, Limerick V94 EH90
The deadline for submissions is 5pm Monday 6th September 2021.
Please note: In accordance with the Planning and Development Act 2000 (As Amended), all valid submissions shall be published online within 10 working days of receipt by Limerick City and County Council.
