Presentation of Waste

Limerick City and County Council is currently in the process of preparing new byelaws in relation to the presentation and collection of waste by households and commercial entities.  

In the interim, the bye laws currently in force are available to view below.

From 1st July 2016 waste service providers are required to provide three bins for agglomerates > 500 households.

However, there are a limited number of areas for which a derogation from this requirement is provided.

The list, which will be subject to a review on 31st December, 2017 is available to view below. 

If your address is not included, you will be required to present your waste in wheeled bins.
