Planning application files (both current and archived) may only be viewed in person at The Planning Office Public Counter on the 1st Floor of Council Offices Dooradoyle from 9am - 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Limerick County Council planning files received after 1st January 2006 are available online in electronic versions.
Limerick City Council planning files received after 1st January 2008 are available to view online in electronic versions.

Viewing Historical Planning Files
Current planning files are held in the Planning Office, all other files are held in storage off site. Archived files can be retrieved within one week of request at a fee of €30 per file at the Planning Offices.

Fees
- Retrieval fees (€30) must be paid on the day that you view the file/s
- Copies can be made of documents from file which will incur additional charges for photocopying:
Paper Size A3 - €1 per sheet
Paper Size A4 - €0.20 per sheet
Please Note: For large planning applications, depending on the amount of photocopying, we may not be able to process the request immediately on the day.
