Notice is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of the Roads Act 1993 of the intention of Limerick City and County Council to close the road as detailed hereunder at the specified locations and times to facilitate Féile na Gréine 2026.

Nicholas Street (L-11508-12) from Cinema Café – Stix to Treaty City Taproom, 24–25 Nicholas Street. Approx. length of road affected: 150 metres. | Diversions via Newgate Lane (L-10117-0) and St. Francis Place (L-10112-0) | From Saturday, 15th August 2026 from 09:00hrs to 17:00hrs and Sunday, 16th August 2026 from 10:00hrs to 18:00hrs. |
- Local access will be maintained where possible.
- Diversions will be clearly sign posted.
- Emergency services access will be provided at all times.
Any person may lodge an objection to the proposal to close these roads by email to roads@limerick.ie or in writing to the Administration Team, Central Services, Roads, Limerick City and County Council, Dooradoyle, Limerick not later than 4pm, Tuesday 28th July 2026.
