Limerick City and County Council wishes to advise motorists and road users that Colas JV, on behalf of Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), will implement overnight slip road closures on the M7 Motorway to facilitate Duct Proving Works.
The traffic management arrangements will be as follows:
- Monday 14 September 2026 (8.00pm to 6.00am): M7 Eastbound Off-Slip Closure at Junction 29
- Tuesday 15 September 2026 (8.00pm to 6.00am): M7 Eastbound Off-Slip Closure at Junction 29
- Wednesday 16 September 2026 (8.00pm to 6.00am): M7 Eastbound On-Slip Closure at Junction 30 (R526 Slip Road)
- Thursday 17 September 2026 (8.00pm to 6.00am): M7 Eastbound On-Slip Closure at Junction 30 (R526 Slip Road)
Signed diversion routes will be in place for the duration of the works.
Local access will be maintained where possible.
Please note that should works at M7 Junction 29 take longer than anticipated, the planned works at M7 Junction 30 may be delayed until Thursday night.
These closures are required to facilitate Duct Proving Works associated with ongoing infrastructure works.
