Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Limerick City & County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to introduce the following road layout amendments on the L1317 Strand Village, Co. Limerick:
- Installation of two number speed ramps
- Installation of new road markings etc.
- Installation of appropriate Traffic signs
The works will involve the construction and installation of two new Speed Ramps and appropriate road markings and traffic signage.
Drawings and particulars of the proposed project are available for inspection at Newcastle West Area Office, Aras William Smith O Brien, Gortboy, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick (V42 EH73) and Limerick City & County Council, Dooradoyle Rd, Dooradoyle, Limerick, (V94 WV78) and may be inspected during normal office hours 9am to 5pm from Wednesday 22nd April 2026 to Friday 22nd May 2026 inclusive. They are also available for inspection online during the above timeframe at https://mypoint.limerick.ie
Submissions or observations regarding the proposal may be made in writing to the above offices or online at https://mypoint.limerick.ie on or before 5pm, on Friday 22nd of May 2026.
