In accordance with Part XVI of the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended, Limerick City and County Council hereby gives notice that it intends to hold the following event: Riverfest Limerick from 1st to 4th May 2026.
The attendance at this event across the 4 days will be circa 120,000 persons.
The event will consist of Riverfest Village at Arthurs Quay Park Friday to Monday inclusive, Riverfest weekend on water activity, Riverfest Fireworks or Drone Show, Fashion Fest, Animations Honan’s Quay and Howley’s Quay and a Wellness Area.
The Draft Event Management Plan may be inspected during office hours at the Limerick City & County Council Planning and Environmental Services Department, County Hall, Dooradoyle Road, Limerick, for a period of three weeks commencing on Thursday 29th January 2026.
Submissions or observations in respect of the proposal may be made to Limerick City and County Council on, or before, 3pm Thursday 19th February 2026.
