Limerick Going for Gold is a community environment improvement grant funding and competition run in conjunction with the JP McManus Charitable Foundation.
This grant scheme is open to local groups who wish to improve biodiversity, litter management, waste prevention, sustainability, focus on circular economy (repair, reuse, recycle) and pollinator friendly planting, and other environmental works. Local groups include: Residents’ Associations, Action Groups, Tidy Towns Groups, Community Associations and other voluntary groups within Limerick City and County jurisdiction area.
How to apply:
Limerick City and County Council invites applications for the Limerick Going for Gold Environmental Improvement Grant and Competition 2026. This year, Limerick City and County Council also invites applications from Residents’ Associations/ Residents’ Groups located within the Regeneration Areas.
