Statement on the UL New Direct Entry Undergraduate Medicine Programme Announcement

Limerick City and County Council warmly welcome the announcement made by Minister Patrick O’Donovan on Friday, which marks a significant milestone for the University of Limerick and the entire region.

The introduction of new direct entry undergraduate medicine programme at UL will not only strengthen the university’s reputation as a centre for academic and research excellence but will also provide a much-needed boost to healthcare services in the region.
