A special event awaits visitors to King John’s Castle this Christmas time with the castle courtyard being transformed to host A Christmas Tale at the Castle.
Spend an enchanted evening at King John’s Castle this Christmas! The medieval walls will come to life with colourful illuminations in an immersive 3D audio visual festive animation show.
It is a Christmas tale for all the family to enjoy.
‘A Christmas Tale at the Castle’ is suitable for all ages, with carol singers, and light mapping with special effects while having some delicious food and browsing King John’s Castle Gift Shop.
This will be King John’s Castle’s first Christmas since the ownership of Limerick city’s premier tourist attraction was transferred to the Council-owned Discover Limerick company from Shannon Heritage in April.
