Mayor of Limerick, John Moran, emphasised the importance of such schemes in addressing housing pressure:

“While this New Build Incremental Purchase Scheme is a modest offering given it’s two homes, it’s another step for us in our wider strategy of supporting working families and individuals in rural county Limerick to access housing. These new homes, located in a modern estate and finished to a high standard, will provide safe, comfortable living for their new occupants.”

PrÍomh Chomlairleoir, Cllr Catherine Slattery, added:

This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting sustainable communities and giving people the opportunity to have their own homes. We believe that everyone deserves the dignity of homeownership, and through this scheme, we are helping to make that dream a reality for more people across Limerick."

Director General at Limerick City and County Council, Dr. Pat Daly, said:

"This is the seventh New Build Incremental Purchase Scheme Limerick City and County Council has introduced.  The Council is committed to providing working HAP and RAS households with real opportunities to own high-quality, discounted market homes. We are excited to see this project come to life in Radharc CiIín in Kilfinane, which is a great opportunity to help people put down roots in their own homes."
