Limerick City and County Council congratulates Minor Hurlers on Historic All Ireland Triumph

Limerick City and County Council extends its warmest congratulations to the Limerick Minor Hurling Team on their outstanding victory over Tipperary in the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship Final. 

This memorable win marks Limerick’s first minor All-Ireland title since 1984, ending a 42-year wait and delivering a moment of immense pride for the county.

The Council acknowledges the exceptional leadership of Manager Diarmuid Mullins and Captain Shane Waters, whose dedication, skill and determination guided the team to this landmark achievement. 

Congratulations are also extended to the entire panel, extended panel and backroom team, whose collective commitment and hard work have brought this success to fruition.

This victory is a testament to the strength of hurling in Limerick and reflects the continued growth of the game at underage level across the county.
