Limerick City and County Council is inviting interested members of the public to attend an online workshop about the Castletroy Greenway. Attendees will hear about ‘greening’ examples and the plans for the green activities along the greenway during the summer.
But we need the help of locals and those interested to volunteer their time and expertise to make this a truly community project.
This workshop is being led by the Council under the GoGreenRoutes project. GoGreenRoutes is an EU Horizon 2020. Limerick is one of six cities across Europe involved where the local community is coming together to create ‘nature based solutions’ that aim to enhance local biodiversity and nature connection.
