  • Toots Christmas in Limerick

Toots the Train is making tracks to Limerick city this week as the Christmas in Limerick calendar of events continues to deliver festive cheer for all the family.

Limerick city is the ideal destination to create cherished memories with loved ones or enjoy some seasonal shopping.

Glide gracefully towards December 25th with a visit to Limerick on Ice at Arthur’s Quay Park. Get cosy with some heartwarming Festive Folktales from far, far away at Limerick’s libraries or join in with a harmonious Christmas Carol service at the historic St. Mary’s Cathedral.

The vibrant city is alive with fun each weekend leading up to Christmas with Seasonal Street Shows and live music performances from Music Generation.

The first of three panto’s in Limerick this year, Aladdin and his Magic Lamp, takes to the stage from this Friday, 08 December at Lime Tree Theatre.

Toots the Train is wheelchair accessible and buggy friendly making it the perfect way for all the family to take in the festive lights and atmosphere in the city centre also from this Friday.

The secret is out: Santa’s Secret Workshop at the International Rugby Experience promises enchantment and delight. Jolly Saint Nick also awaits at Lough Gur’s Santa Experience, or in one of Limerick’s Santa Grottos.
