In other cemeteries throughout County Limerick, the Council is assisted by local parish councils, community groups and burial ground committees in the maintenance of its cemeteries. Limerick City and County Council encourages the work of the local burial ground committees by means of a grant each year. Over 100 groups receive the burial ground grant each year. In these cemeteries, it is the responsibility of the grave owner or family to maintain their grave.

It would be much appreciated if people removed decayed flowers, wreaths and ornaments from their family graves and place them in the bins provided.
