Limerick City and County Council to join #ourcouncilday Twitter Campaign to Raise Awareness of Services

Limerick City and County Council is taking part in the #ourcouncilday Twitter campaign today, Wednesday, 2nd March, to increase engagement with the public and to raise awareness of the services provided.

Members of the public are encouraged to join in and talk to us about the services provided to your community using the hashtags #ourcouncilday or #ÁrLáSaChomhairle.

Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, Cllr Liam Galvin, said; “Limerick City and County Council uses Twitter and other social media technologies to enhance our communication, collaboration and information exchange with members of the public, and by partaking in Twitter Day today we hope to engage with even more people and raise awareness of the many different services we provide.”

Twenty five other local authorities are participating in Twitter Day including Cork City Council, Dublin City Council, Waterford City and County Council, and Fingal County Council. Join the conversation by using #ourcouncilday on Twitter.
