This December, we look forward to welcoming visitors to the Christmas Tree Showcase at the beautifully restored Saint Michael’s Church.
Bringing together the creativity, generosity and community spirit of Limerick, the showcase will feature a wonderful collection of Christmas trees, each sponsored and decorated by local schools, charities, businesses, community organisations and individuals. We are delighted to have a number of organisations taking part, including Saint Michael’s National School, Villiers, the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul and Ennis Road Nursing and Residential Home, alongside others from across our wider community.
Under the theme ‘Community Matters’, every tree will tell its own story, sharing a message, celebrating a cause or highlighting the valuable work taking place across our community. Together, they will transform this historic church into a festive celebration of creativity, collaboration and the true spirit of Christmas. The showcase will also provide an opportunity to recognise and support the work of local organisations, with donations going towards Saint Michael’s Outreach. Whether you are visiting to admire the creativity, support the participating organisations or simply enjoy the Christmas atmosphere, we look forward to welcoming you to Saint Michael’s this December.
