Revival Press is proud to announce the launch of Work in Progress, the first anthology from The V94 Write Offs Creative Writing Group, taking place in the historic surroundings of The People’s Museum of Limerick.
The event will be officially launched by best selling author Donal Ryan. Work in Progress brings together an exciting collection of poetry and fiction from one of Limerick’s most vibrant and fast‑growing writing groups. Formed in 2023 after a creative writing course at LCFE, the V94 Write Offs have grown into a diverse community of poets, storytellers, and emerging voices who meet monthly to share work, offer critique, and support each other’s creative development.
This anthology showcases the breadth of that talent, from intimate lyric poems to sharply observed short stories, from reflections on Limerick’s cultural landscape to imaginative leaps into memory, myth, and the surreal. It is a celebration of community creativity, shaped by editors Marie Studer (poetry) and Mark Dwyer (fiction), and supported by Revival Press and The Limerick Writers’ Centre’s Community Publishing Project. The book also acknowledges the generous support of Takumi Precision Engineering, Caherdavin Credit Union, and Grow Mental Health, where the group holds its regular meetings. All profits from the anthology will be donated to Grow Mental Health.
The launch event will feature readings from contributors, remarks from the editors, and the official introduction by Donal Ryan. Copies of the anthology will be available for purchase on the night.
