Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that Trial holes and site investigation works to confirm underground services as part of the King’s Island Flood Relief Scheme will be in place from Monday14th September to Thursday 17th September 2026 inclusive from 19:00pm to 06:00am nightly.
As a result, temporary traffic management will be put in place and one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times, with traffic controlled through the works area.
Pedestrian access will be maintained, with local diversions and local access provided where required.
Emergency service vehicles will have through access.
