Blue Heron is a semi-autobiographical drama film by writer-director Sophy Romvari.
It follows a Hungarian immigrant family who move to Vancouver Island in the late 1990s. The story is told through the perspective of the youngest child, eight-year-old Sasha, as the family struggles to cope with the increasingly erratic, self-destructive, and dangerous behaviour of their eldest teenage son, Jeremy.
