The Limerick Wild Geese Festival is a community-led non-profit annual event which commemorates the Flight of the Wild Geese and celebrates the long-standing friendship between Ireland and France.

The festival offers artistic and educational entertainment for all. It has been organised since 2023 by Alliance Française Limerick, one of the city’s longest running non-profit organisations, with the support of the French Embassy, Limerick City and County Council, around 30 local organisations, businesses and community groups as well as a number of institutional and corporate sponsors.

This festival is supported by Limerick City and County Council.
