Refuge by Deirdre Kinahan

Thursday 24th - Sunday 29th September @ 8pm
  • Refuge

In 1710, a group of Palatines fled religious persecution in Germany and were offered refuge in Rathkeale, County Limerick.

Blending theatre with live music and dance, Refuge traces their journey and explores the enduring connections between displaced communities of the past and those seeking safety today. What messages would the settlers of the past be shouting to communities searching for refuge, safety and peace in our world now?
