Irish Naval Ship Tours

Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd May @ 10am - 3pm
  • Family enjoying a tour inside an Irish Naval Vessel as part of Riverfest Limerick.

The Irish Naval Service vessel LÉ George Bernard Shaw will dock in Limerick City this weekend as part of Riverfest Limerick 2026 and will be open to the public for free tours.

This is a rare opportunity to step on board one of Ireland’s most modern Naval Service vessels, meet serving personnel, and explore life at sea. Previous Naval vessel visits to Limerick have proven hugely popular, attracting large crowds - and this visit is set to be another festival highlight.
