This 4 x 1/2 day, daytime course will enable you to research your idea, examine finances, develop your marketing and sales strategy and prepare a business plan.
Commencing Tuesday 28th April 2026 and continues May 5th, 12th and 19th.
This is a 4 session online (morning) programme being delivered 1 day per week over 4 weeks.
The Programme will help participants who are considering or already starting a new business to explore the key areas;
Defining Entrepreneurship:
- What does it mean to be an entrepreneur?
- Key characteristics and qualities of successful entrepreneurs
Motivations for Starting a Business:
- Personal and professional goals
- Financial incentives
- Passion and purpose
The Entrepreneurial Rollercoaster:
- Ups and downs of business ownership
- Dealing with challenges and setbacks
- Building resilience and adaptability
Self-Assessment:
- Evaluating personal readiness for entrepreneurship
- Identifying strengths and weaknesses
- Setting realistic expectations
Discussion Questions:
- What motivates you to consider starting your own business?
- What are your biggest fears and concerns about entrepreneurship?
- How do you envision balancing work and personal life as a business owner?
- What steps can you take to prepare yourself for the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship?
By the end of this session, delegates will have a clearer understanding of the entrepreneurial journey and be better equipped to make informed decisions about their career paths.
