Clothing is never just clothing. In this interactive workshop, we will explore how what we wear (from outfits to tattoos and jewellery) reflects and shapes identity, confidence and belonging, both socially and within ourselves.
Held in the Captains’ Room at the Hunt Museum and drawing inspiration from the Sybil Connolly collection, this session considers the deeper meanings stitched into our wardrobes.
Participants are encouraged to bring along any magazines/pictures they have that they might draw fashion inspiration from as part of this workshop will involve creating a mood board of images using fashion/style imagery.
Spaces are limited to 20 on the day so important to register at the link below.
Targeted towards adults, anyone with an interest in identity, clothing and fashion.
Hosted by the Department of Psychology, Mary Immaculate College in collaboration with the Hunt Museum.
