This St Patrick’s Day, enjoy the enchanting sound of Ireland’s iconic harp in a special performance led by Dr Fiana Ní Chonaill and the Cuisle Harp Ensemble at King John’s Castle, celebrating Ireland’s rich musical and cultural heritage.
Following the performance, Dr Ní Chonaill will give an engaging talk on the harp as Ireland’s national instrument and symbol, exploring its thousand-year history, UNESCO recognition, and lasting presence in Irish tradition, while honouring the generations of harpers who have preserved and passed on this unique art form. Join us for an inspiring celebration of music, heritage, and national pride.
