Limerick City and County Council wish to advise motorists and road users that planned Overnight Road Works will take place at Junction 1 and Junction 2 of the N18 in both directions on Thursday 19th February 2026 from 21:00hrs to 06:00hrs to accommodate overhead cabling works by the ESB.
Southbound traffic (towards Dublin/ Cork) will be diverted off at Junction 2 (Dock Road) and diverted to M20 Junction 3 (Raheen) via the R510.
Northbound traffic (towards Shannon/ Galway) will be diverted off at Junction 1 (Rossbrien) and diverted to Junction 2 via M20 Junction 3 (Raheen) and the R510.
A traffic management system will be in operation for the duration of the works.
