Join award-winning Irish artist Gabhann Dunne for a one-day painting workshop exploring movement and gesture through expressive brushwork.
Using examples from his work including studies of a bird in flight and a wolf in motion, participants will learn how to convey energy and rhythm through paint. Working in acrylic or oil the workshop covers gesture-led painting, colour mixing, mediums and wet-on-wet techniques. Participants are encouraged to bring in an image dealing with that movement and gesture though we will have images available as well.
