Step into a world of delectable delights, nostalgic sweets, delicious home baking and barista coffee - it’s a delicious pick ‘n’ mix paradise for all!
Old Irish Ways
It all started with one vintage Massey Ferguson tractor and a passion for the past has now transformed into The Old Irish Ways Museum! Denis O’Connor and his wife Joan built this quaint little museum to hold a private collection that has amassed since 2008! You will be in awe at the sheer amount of antique, historical and novel items Denis has collected and appreciate how thoughtfully he has chosen to display his collection!
From the old style country shop, hardware store, pharmacy, cobblers, old Irish classroom and replica pub you will be transported back in time! Young visitors can gain an understanding of country life in Ireland and the importance of agricultural, crafts and trades.
But, for many, it will be a trip down memory lane and a reminder of their own home and community growing up. Once you have completed the guided tour given by Denis himself, you will be treated to a lovely cup of tea or coffee in the replica pub and soak in the atmosphere of a truly amazing hidden gem of Limerick!
