The annual Don Reddan Charity Golf Classic, hosted by the Limerick Central Rotary Club on Friday 9th May 2025 in Limerick Golf Club, has raised €10,000 in aid of Down Syndrome Limerick and Milford Care Centre.
Ger Lynch, President of Limerick Central Rotary Club, commented, “We received huge support for our golf classic again this year, which raises vital funds to support local and national charities. Our sincere thanks to our event sponsors, Lyons Motor Group and Don Reddan Insurances, to all those who generously sponsored tee-boxes and raffle prizes, and to all the teams who played on the day. We are also very grateful to Deputy Richard O'Donoghue, Councillor Frankie Daly and Aaron Gillane for lending their support to this year’s event”.
The winning team, sponsored by Limerick Travel, was made up of Paul O’Connell, Peter Brazil, Shane O’Donoghue and Bryan O’Connell.
A cheque presentation was made to Down Syndrome Limerick and Milford Care Centre in the Limerick Strand Hotel on 13th June.
