The GAFF: Film Night

Thursday 30th April @ 5pm
  • The Gaff 810x456

The evening will showcase three beautiful films produced in recent years, by or in partnership with The GAFF, that highlight the diverse voices and stories of Limerick.

  • Children of the Castle', dir. Keith Bogue and Maeve McGrath – interviews with people about their childhoods living in the housing development in the barracks of King John's Castle
  • Knuck & Knuckle', dir. Ellie Marron and Sean Horgan – the story of how boxing and sport helped @lee_reeves_boxer through his personal grief journey, following the death of his mother Cathy
  • Being Put Back Together', dir. David McDonagh – Kaylen's journey with photography and personal challenges, seen through the eyes of his brother David.
This film night will celebrate local storytelling and underrepresented voices. Be aware that some of the films shown on the night will feature discussion of depression, self-harm and suicide. The GAFF Film Night is supported by Limerick City and County Council through the Night Time Economy programme.
