With just one week to go until the return of Live at the Docklands Festival, excitement is building for another unforgettable series of concerts on the banks of the River Shannon.
Presented by Dolans, this year's festival will once again transform Atlas Avenue into one of Ireland's premier outdoor music venues, welcoming thousands of music fans across an outstanding programme featuring rock, dance music, pop and some of the country's biggest live acts.
The festival gets underway on Friday, August 14th, when Qween – It's A Kinda Queen, featuring The Dublin Gospel Choir and special guests IE/DC, deliver a spectacular celebration of one of the greatest bands of all time. Packed with Queen's biggest hits, the show promises an unforgettable evening of music and entertainment.
On Saturday, August 15th, Dec Pierce's Block Rockin' Beats returns to Live at the Docklands. One of Ireland's biggest dance music events, Block Rockin' Beats combines live musicians, vocalists and classic dance anthems for an electric outdoor party, with special guest Maeve O'Connor completing the line-up.
The following evening, Sunday, August 16th, sees Cian Ducrot bring his acclaimed Dream Ship Tour 2026 to Limerick. Fresh from becoming one of Ireland's biggest international stars, Cian's Docklands performance promises to be one of the highlights of the summer, joined by special guest Jamie McIntyre.
The festival concludes in spectacular fashion as Amble perform three consecutive sold-out nights at Live at the Docklands on August 20th, 21st and 22nd. Joined by special guest Niall McCabe, the trio's remarkable three-night run reflects their meteoric rise and enormous popularity, making them the perfect act to close this year's festival.
Speaking ahead of the festival, Mick Dolan said:
"We're looking forward to welcoming thousands of music fans back to Live at the Docklands. We've put together an incredible programme this year, with something for everyone—from Qween and Block Rockin' Beats to Cian Ducrot and three sold-out nights with Amble. The atmosphere at the Docklands is always special, and we can't wait to get started next week."
Festival-goers can make a full day of the experience, with Dolans opening from 4pm before every show, hosting pre-show parties on The Terrace before audiences make their way to the Docklands. After each concert, the celebrations continue back at Dolans with official afterparties featuring DJs and live music, making Live at the Docklands more than just a concert—it's a full evening of entertainment.
With Amble's three-night run already completely sold out and strong demand across the remaining concerts, Live at the Docklands 2026 is set to be one of the highlights of the Irish summer festival calendar.
