Chalkfest: Community Street Art Event with Limerick Printmakers. Join us for a fun, free family chalk drawing event as we transform the street into a giant outdoor canvas!
Guided by our artists, children and their families will work together to create colorful chalk artwork across O'Connell Avenue and celebrate creativity in the heart of the city. Pre-booking is encouraged but walk ups are very welcome on the day too. Please note that all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian as this is not a drop off event.
Barriers will be in place and there will be a small security presence in place to ensure the best and safest possible experience. Please note that a photographer will be documenting the event on behalf of Limerick City and County Council so everyone will need to complete a short form confirming their agreement. The LP team will help you fill those in as you enter the area.
