Roots Community Shop & Café

In our Café, our coffee machine is full of delicious, aromatic, rich Ponaire coffee beans just waiting to be ground and poured.  There are also plenty of tasty bites including cakes and scones to go with your coffee/tea/hot chocolate.

Light bites, soups and lunches using produce from Kilmeedy Homegrown are freshly prepared in house to tempt you. You can also take-away for elevenses or lunch, or take a night off from cooking, and pre-order a healthy, nutritious family dinner which you can collect and serve at home.

The shop is a convenience store with all the goods you need for day to day life – pasta to potatoes, bread, butter, milk, household cleaning products, personal care products not to mention the more indulgent goodies we all love.

We are also proud to stock a range of locally sourced products such as jams and chutneys from The Green Apron, Guiry’s eggs, Cahills Cheese, Ballygoats Cheese, Ballyhoura Apple Farm juices, Athea Pudding and Our Daily Bread to name but a few.
