Overlooking the handsome, tree-lined People’s Park in Limerick’s historic Georgian Quarter, No. 1 Pery Square is a luxurious and intimate boutique townhouse hotel. With 20 individually styled bedrooms, delicious food and wine served in our restaurant and lounges, an innovative and polished organic spa in the vaulted basement, a sweet terrace and garden room, the hotel is full of personality, comfort, and style throughout.

No. 1 is also one of the country’s prettiest and most characterful hotels. The vision of owner Patricia Roberts, who purchased the building in 2006, can be felt throughout. Part of a terrace of six Georgian houses built around 1830 by the Pery Square Tontine Company, the hotel lovingly preserves the spirit of the past while embracing the best of modern comforts.

As a Grade 1 listed building, listed on the inside as well as the outside, No. 1 was fully restored in a labour of love by the owners, with all its original architectural features expertly reinstated, so guests are surrounded everywhere by the authentic history of the property.

Spa No.1 Pery Square is in the vaulted basement is a real urban retreat. The basement vaults were restored to create the Spa, retaining their exposed brick and original stonework, and making a quiet, soothing backdrop to a holistic experience.

The spa also offers a superb thermal experience which includes a herbal cocoon, coal bunker sauna, aroma steam room, Irish mist showers and a zen garden for lazy days.
