Discover the fascinating process of yarn spinning on a traditional wheel with live demonstrations showing how raw fleece is transformed into beautiful handmade yarn.
Explore alpaca and sheep fleece at different stages of processing, learn about traditional spinning techniques and see finished examples created from both single and two-ply yarn.
Alongside this, participants can get hands-on with clay and experiment with shaping, forming and surface decoration techniques while learning more about the ceramic process in a relaxed studio setting.
