Poolside Universe

Saturday 18th April @ 1pm
  • Poolside Universe

We are delighted to invite you to Poolside Universe, a collaborative fine art photography workshop and photoshoot exploring the relationship between minimalism and maximalist compositions through bodies, colour, and water.

Set in the striking geometric environment of Bawnmore Swimming Pool in Limerick, this creative session invites photographers to experiment with visual storytelling, staged compositions, and bold colour palettes. Working with models and curated styling, participants will explore the dialogue between architectural lines and expressive body language while creating a series of distinctive images.

  • Meeting point: Hook & Ladder, Limerick City – 1pm (lunch and introduction)

  • Photoshoot: 3pm – 6pm

  • Location: Bawnmore Swimming Pool, Limerick

Please note that lunch is not included in the workshop fee. Participants will need to travel between the meeting point and the pool venue (approximately a 16-minute drive), and carpooling can be arranged if needed. The workshop will be facilitated by Céline Mermier and Avia Gurman Murphy, bringing together their experience in fine art photography, visual storytelling, and creative facilitation. Places are limited to ensure an intimate, creative environment.

This hands-on workshop welcomes photographers of all levels — from curious beginners to professionals looking to expand their artistic portfolio.
