Bernard Casey is a comedian, actor and drama teacher from Portmagee village Co. Kerry.
After his first live comedy gig at UCC RAG Week in 2011, Bernard has sold out shows at the INEC, Vicar Street & The Everyman Theatre Cork along with venues in the London, New York and Boston.
Bernard’s online comedy videos have over 15 million views and have garnered him over 130,000 social media followers. Using his unique characters, Bernard creates original videos for both corporate and personal events such as birthdays, anniversaries, stags/hens, weddings etc. His passion for comedy and acting also lead to the creation of his hugely popular Drama Workshop for secondary schools students in Ireland.
Bernard attended school in Scoil Bhreannain in Portmagee and Coláiste Na Sceilge in Cahersiveen. After attaining an BA Degree in Geography and History at UCC, Bernard enrolled in Theatre Performance in Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa Cork before advancing to The Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin. Bernard has a Masters of Primary Education from Hibernia College.
