Compass Associate Artist Magdalena Hylak offers an end of residency performance of Racket, her newest and first ensemble piece.
She will be joined by longtime collaborator and composer Lionel Kasparian, dramaturg Eva Martinez, and an international cast of dancers including Isabella Oberländer, Siobhán Ní Dhuinnín, and Ashley Chen.
With Racket, Magdalena continues her exploration of the relationship between movement and sound, placing particular emphasis on the spaces that emerge between bodies. Moving beyond the frameworks of solo and duet, this new ensemble work opens up a field of interaction.
