As part of our current exhibition, Óir, Ore: Four Millennia of Limerick Silver and Gold, the Friends of the Hunt Museum are delighted to host a very special creative workshop.
Inspired by the rich craftsmanship, intricate detail and enduring beauty of precious metalwork through the ages. Goldsmith Sarah Gough will share her skills and guide participants through the art of metal embossing. Drawing on techniques that echo the decorative traditions seen throughout the exhibition, this hands-on workshop offers a unique opportunity to create your own embossed metal piece in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Join us for an enjoyable afternoon of creativity, conversation and inspiration surrounded by the story of Limerick’s silver and gold heritage.
