This year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade, taking place at midday on Sunday 17th March, will be a carnival of colour and celebration with music, dance and spectacle from local groups and internationally renowned street theatre companies.

The parade theme, One Giant Leap, celebrates the 50th anniversary of Neil Armstrong’s moon landing and reflects Limerick’s dynamic revitalisation in recent years.

Parade Route: O’Connell Avenue (Roden Street junction) to Rutland Street.

Dr Norah Patten, who is in the running to be Ireland’s first astronaut, has been unveiled as the Grand Marshal for Limerick’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2019.

*In the event of extreme weather, schedule may be subject to change.
