Angling Workshop

Friday 29th May @ 2pm
  • Angling Workshop

As part of Lough Gur Biodiversity Festival, learn the skills and traditions of angling at this hands-on workshop with Mike Quinlivan and Dave Buston.

Both have previously led popular fly-casting sessions with Maigue Rivers Trust, helping participants build confidence and practical skills outdoors. This workshop offers an introduction to fly tying and fly casting in a relaxed and welcoming setting, while also highlighting the close connection between angling, healthy waterways and aquatic biodiversity. Suitable for beginners, curious newcomers and those looking to refine their technique in a beautiful outdoor setting.  All ages welcome.
