Angling Walk

Sunday 31st May @ 5 pm
  • Angling

As part of Lough Gur Biodiversity Festival, join StreamScapes for a guided angling walk exploring the impact of invasive species on Irish waterways and the steps anglers can take to help stop their spread.

StreamScapes is known for freshwater education and catchment awareness work, while Inland Fisheries Ireland advises water users and anglers to follow simple biosecurity measures such as Check, Clean, Dry to reduce the risk of spreading invasive species and disease. This walk will combine practical guidance with discussion on protecting rivers, lakes and fish habitats, making it ideal for anglers, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone interested in caring for our waterways.
