Join us for a very special evening celebrating the launch of Bernard Casey’s new book, Local Gossip, Tall Tales and Short Stories from Over the Road.
Known for bringing the characters, stories and humour of rural Ireland to life, Bernard will take to the stage for a night that promises plenty of laughs, stories and local craic.
The evening will begin with a live comedy show, followed by a live interview and conversation with Bernard about the new book and the people, places and characters that inspired its stories. There’ll also be an audience Q&A, giving fans the chance to put their own questions to Bernard.
Copies of Local Gossip, Tall Tales and Short Stories from Over the Road will be available to purchase on the night, with Bernard staying afterwards for a book signing, photographs and a chat with guests.
The Woodlands has become a familiar home for Bernard’s live shows over the past number of years, making Adare the perfect setting for this special Limerick launch.
